Poetic Captions: Library of the Living Dead

You would think after writing a poem every day for poetry month that writing one poem in a week would be easy. It wasn’t. All your wonderful captions had my head spinning with ideas.

Library of the Living Dead
Poem by Rena
On my walk
My midnight walk
I came across
A curious shop

A ghoul, a vamp
A frankenstein
Browsing books
Row by row

Diamond, sparkling
Stalker vamp
Is just the thing a ghoul needs

Pain shifting
Orphan girl
Vampire Ann snapped it up

Cinder, cyborg
Lunar queen
Baba Yaga laughed out loud

Shape shifting
Hunchbacked spy
Frankenstein fell in love

One by one
They bought their books
And shuffled out
Into the night
